COOKING WITH CLORIS - HOLIDAY CRANBERRY-ALMOND-WHITE CHOCOLATE COOKIES


Holiday Cranberry-Almond-White Chocolate Cookies
Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup white chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add gradually to butter/sugar mixture. Fold in cherries, almonds, and chips. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto parchment covered cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 10-12 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.
